GCG Takes Over NYC

The Gutter Cat Gang took over the streets of New York City last week – here’s what went down.

Gutter Cats, Rats, Pigeons, Dogs and Clones filled Howard St. for the Stadium Goods Block Party for a notable first day, bridging the best of both street culture and web3. Attendees shot hoops and copped event-exclusive GCG merch during the members-only meetup.

On Wednesday, GCG and Hoopbus kept the Gutter energy going, visiting iconic courts and taking over Times Square for a memorable NYC moment. Members stopped by the PUMA flagship store to get custom PFP shirts, while Coinbase NFT showcased GCG NFTs in their digital installation at The Future Marketplace – making for a dope photo opp.

We closed out the week with the GutterNYCity party at Iron23 for one of GCG’s biggest IRL meet-ups of the year. Holders entered the immersive space through the bodega, where they swept exclusive GCG merch from the shelves while sipping on Jarritos.

In the main space, Cats kicked it in the Kibble Club and all species let loose at the DJ booth with Vashtie and Damaged Goods. Lucky attendees got free customized PUMA sneakers and everyone had a chance to win LaMelo-signed kicks. Guests enjoyed Gutter-inspired cocktails, wandered into Ratt’s Tatts for some ink by Jason Hoodrich and saw one-of-a-kind stretchable sculptures created by artist Felix Semper.

A huge thank you to our partners and sponsors: Stadium Goods, Puma, Hoopbus, The Sandbox, Blockbar, Jarritos, Happy Hour and Lemon Perfect for helping us create an epic week for the community. It’s always a good time when the Gang gets together. Stay tuned for what’s next.
